About the role
Our client is an elite international law firm seeking a Banking & Finance Associate with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience to join their market leading practice in London.
This role offers the opportunity to work with highly regarded partners, recognised across the market for complex cross-border transactions (both lender and borrower side). You will be involved in advising financial institutions, funds, and corporates on a broad range of financing matters, with particular focus on general lending, acquisition finance, and syndicated loans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on high-value domestic and international lending transactions.
- Drafting and negotiating loan agreements and related finance documents.
- Acting for lenders, sponsors, and borrowers across a wide range of sectors.
- Supporting a highly active and collaborative partner-led practice on complex cross-border mandates.
- Developing trusted client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.

About You:
- Qualified lawyer with 3+ years’ PQE in banking and finance, ideally gained at a top-tier UK or international firm.
- Strong experience in lending, with exposure to general corporate lending and/or acquisition finance.
- Excellent technical skills and the ability to manage complex transactions efficiently.
- A collaborative mindset with a genuine interest in developing long-term client relationships.
