About the role
A leading global law firm is seeking to hire a talented disputes lawyer with 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience to join its highly regarded London litigation team.
The role offers a rare opportunity to join one of the market’s most respected litigation practices, recognised by both Chambers UK and The Legal 500 for expertise in complex commercial disputes, banking and structured finance litigation, cross-border regulatory investigations and international arbitration.
The team acts on some of the most high-profile and high-value disputes in the market, often involving complex issues of derivatives, shareholder disputes, and multi-jurisdictional enforcement proceedings, including cases with links to major financial collapses and high-stakes injunctive relief.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in commercial litigation, ideally including matters involving financial services, banking products, or regulatory enforcement. A solid grounding in High Court litigation is essential, and experience in arbitration or acting on regulatory investigations (including those involving the FCA, SFO, or US regulators) would be advantageous.
The role will involve drafting pleadings, applications, and correspondence, working directly with clients and counsel, and supporting the strategic management of complex and document-heavy matters. Associates are given real responsibility and client exposure from the outset, with full support and development from senior colleagues.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and intellectually curious lawyer looking to deepen their expertise in heavyweight disputes within a collegiate and ambitious team. The firm offers a highly competitive compensation package, excellent training and development opportunities, and a clear path to progression within a global platform. England & Wales qualification is preferred and strong academics will be expected.
