Linklaters re-elects leadership duo after record-breaking year

Linklaters has re-elected Aedamar Comiskey and Paul Lewis to lead the firm until 2029 following a strong vote of support from the partnership.
The move follows a record financial year for the firm, including its biggest year-on-year profit increase in more than two decades.
Linklaters partners have voted to re-elect Aedamar Comiskey as senior partner and Paul Lewis as firmwide managing partner, extending their stay through to 2029.
The firm said their terms were extended "with overwhelming support following another year of record results, including the biggest year-on-year increase in profit in more than 20 years and significant revenue growth in the US."
Comiskey, the firm’s first ever female senior partner, was first elected in 2021 after previously heading the global corporate team. Lewis also took up his leadership role that year, having led the finance division.
What they said
"This is an exciting time for our firm", said Comiskey. "We have bold ambitions and everything we need to achieve them – the market’s top talent, the world’s leading clients and a brilliant culture of teamwork and high performance."
Lewis said: “Four years ago we set out a clear vision and strategy to put us in the strongest position to win the most complex, cross-border mandates for the world’s leading corporates, banks, funds and financial sponsors. With the hard work and commitment of our colleagues across our global network, we have made significant progress."
He added: "This is reflected in our performance in industry league tables, rankings and awards, and another year of record financial results."
