Eversheds Sutherland has recorded a revenue increase of 8% and a 14% jump in PEP for FY2025/26.

The firm added its highest number of lateral partners in a single year in FY2025/26 and pointed to the growth of its corporate finance practice as a contributor to the strong results.

Eversheds Sutherland has reported strong financial results for 2025/26, with revenue rising 8% to £827 million and PEP climbing 14% to £1.6 million.

Net profit also saw a double-digit increase of 13% to £209 million. The results mark a decade of what the firm described as “sustained and consistent growth” in which revenue has doubled and profit has increased by 150%.

The firm said corporate finance was a particularly strong area of growth, and also highlighted the 37 lateral additions it made during the financial year, which included DLA Piper’s London managing partner Ruth Hoy who arrived with senior IP lawyer Huw Cookson in April.

Record hiring year

The year marked Eversheds' busiest ever period for lateral hiring, with 37 partner recruits - double the number hired the previous year.

The firm also said that more than 2,000 of its lawyers now use Harvey, which it rolled out from February to May this year.

The year also saw the firm relaunch its Irish business as a fully integrated part of its international LLP, bringing 26 partners and 170 staff in Dublin and Belfast under one combined practice.

What they said
