Mishcon de Reya has rolled out legal AI platform Legora firmwide following a successful three-month pilot.
The deal adds to Legora’s recent run of Big Law wins, including partnerships with Dentons, DWF, Taylor Wessing and Cleary.
Mishcon de Reya has become the latest firm to adopt legal AI platform Legora, rolling it out across the business following a three-month pilot that saw strong uptake across a range of practice areas.
The Stockholm-based startup - which raised $80 million at a $675 million valuation earlier this year - has now added Mishcon to a growing roster of Big Law customers, with recent wins including Dentons, DWF, Taylor Wessing and Cleary. The platform offers a suite of AI tools for lawyers, spanning drafting, research, contract review and bulk document analysis.
The platform was tested across multiple practice areas, with strong engagement from users at all levels, from paralegals to partners, according to the firm.
The rollout caps off a busy stretch for Legora, which has emerged as one of the fastest-growing legal tech companies less than two years after launch and stands as a key challenger to US rival Harvey in the race to become Big Law’s go-to general-purpose AI platform.
What they said
Nick West, chief strategy officer at Mishcon, said: "We’ve got two years’ worth of experience using our in-house genAI tool, deReyAI, so we were looking for a product that would be a step-change in capability. Legora impressed us with its pace, product vision and deep understanding of legal workflows.”
Legora founder and CEO Max Junestrand said: "From the start, we have been so impressed with the engagement and enthusiasm from the team to utilise Legora in a way that truly empowers its lawyers. And I couldn’t be happier that we will be working with Mishcon de Reya across the entire firm.”
