Baker McKenzie bumps NQ salaries to £145k

Baker McKenzie has raised London NQ salaries to £145,000, an increase of £5,000 - matching HSF Kramer.

Trainee pay remains unchanged, with first years on £56,000 and second years on £61,000.

Baker McKenzie has raised newly qualified (NQ) lawyer salaries in London to £145,000, marking a £5,000 rise effective from 1 July.

The move brings the firm level with HSF Kramer, which also bumped NQ pay to £145,000 earlier in July, and ahead of Hogan Lovells (£140,000), Ashurst (£140,000) and Norton Rose Fulbright (£135,000).

The rise applies to NQs only, with the firm confirming to Non-Billable that trainee pay has remained the same as last year at £56,000 and £61,000 for first and second years, respectively.
