Fladgate hands £2.5k bonus to all staff after record year

Fladgate is rewarding all staff below partner level with a £2,500 bonus after posting a record financial year - with PEP topping £1 million for the first time in the firm’s history.

The mid-sized London firm, best known for its real estate, small-cap M&A and private client work, reported revenue growth of 17% to reach £88 million for 2024/25 - the first year of its current three-year business plan.

The firm said growth was driven by strong demand across its transactional teams and a 28% jump in disputes revenue, with managing partner Grant Gordon pointing to firmwide "alignment" behind its success.

Hiring momentum

Fladgate has made 17 lateral partner hires since April 2024 - including a 25-lawyer team from Memery Crystal in February, after the collapse of its listed parent RBG Holdings.

New hires span areas including disputes, corporate (PE and VC), real estate, finance and private client, while a further five internal partner promotions have been made across capital markets, M&A, family and private wealth.

Fladgate had set a goal of bringing in 24 new partners by 2027 - and looks on track to beat that well ahead of schedule.
