Harvey has hired Gibson Dunn partner and former Google chief privacy officer Keith Enright as its chief strategy officer.

The hire follows a series of senior partner-level moves by Harvey as it builds out its leadership team.

Harvey has hired Gibson Dunn partner Keith Enright as its chief strategy officer, continuing its push to bring senior Big Law talent into the fast-growing legal AI company.

Enright was co-chair of Gibson Dunn’s tech and innovation and AI practice groups, based in Palo Alto. He joined the firm in 2024 from Google, where he served as chief privacy officer.

His move comes after a relatively short stint at Gibson Dunn of around 18 months.

At Google, Enright led global privacy, compliance and consumer protection teams, as well as heading company strategy on regulatory and policy issues.

At Harvey, he will lead engagement with the judiciary, bar associations and legal education providers, as well as overseeing hiring for key roles as the company expands into other high-value sectors such as banking and private equity.

Enright said: “Harvey is the clear leader in the legal AI space, and I’m excited to join the team and advance their ambition to help lawyers deliver more client value, with greater speed, efficiency, and quality.”

CEO Winston Weinberg said Enright’s combination of legal and policy experience would “accelerate Harvey’s leadership as the operating system for the world’s best legal teams”.

Big law to legal AI

Harvey has made a series of partner-level hires from law firms since launching in 2022. Not all have stayed.

In 2024, the company lost Suril Patel, a former A&O partner who had joined as VP of partnerships, back to private practice at Kirkland & Ellis.

In the same year, it also saw chief product officer Gordon Moodie, formerly a partner at Wachtell, leave for Debevoise after just over 12 months in the role.
