Legora has secured Pinsent Masons for a global rollout following a successful pilot, adding another major international firm to its roster.

The win comes as the Stockholm-based AI platform reportedly seeks $400 million in new funding at a valuation north of $5 billion.

Legora has landed Pinsent Masons as its latest major law firm customer, with the firm opting for a global rollout of the legal AI platform following a pilot.

Pinsents will deploy Legora across its corporate, commercial and property teams, with pilots set to begin in remaining practice groups. Around 1,000 lawyers are expected to gain access initially, with scope to expand as further use cases are proven.

The win adds another significant name to Legora’s client roster. Over the past 12 months the company has signed a string of major firms, including Linklaters, White & Case and CMS, as competition in the legal AI platform market continues to heat up.

Pinsents’ director of transformation Neil Green said the pilot was designed to “rapidly pinpoint effective use cases”, adding that the phased rollout would allow the firm to deliver results more quickly.

For Legora, the deal reinforces its strategy of embedding deeply within firms’ workflows rather than positioning itself as a standalone tool. Pinsents said it will work closely with Legora to co-develop new applications aimed at improving client delivery.

Legora momentum

The customer win comes as Legora continues to expand aggressively. The company is reportedly in talks to raise $400 million at a valuation north of $5 billion - a move that would more than triple its $1.8 billion valuation secured in October at its $150 million Series C.
