Milbank is awarding summer bonuses of $6,000 to $25,000 to all associates and special counsel globally.
It's the second consecutive year the firm has paid summer bonuses.
Milbank is awarding summer bonuses to its associates and special counsel worldwide - including in London - for the second consecutive year.
First reported by Above the Law, an internal memo from chair Scott A. Edelman confirmed the payments, which will be made in September. Awards range from $6,000 for 2025 joiners (equivalent to NQs in the London market) to $25,000 for lawyers who started in 2020 or earlier (around five years' PQE). That's around £18,000 based on current exchange rates.
The firm confirmed to Non-Billable that London associates are eligible for the bonuses.
Edelman said "We anticipate that activity levels across the firm will remain high through the rest of the year and your commitment and enthusiasm are vital to our ability to provide unparalleled client service."
Milbank made identical summer bonus awards in August last year.
The firm is already among the best payers in the City, with London NQs on the Cravath scale - the equivalent of $225,000.
